About Franchising Manager – Fashion & Trends in New Delhi
Working out of Sainik Farms is quite different from being in the middle of the city. It’s much quieter here and there are more trees. I handle the franchising manager side of things from this location. Most of my day is spent on the computer or making calls to see how different locations are doing. It’s not a traditional shop where people walk in off the street. It’s more about coordination and keeping track of a lot of moving parts. I have a small office setup that’s pretty simple—just a desk, a lamp, and way too many notebooks. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow out here, which can be annoying when I'm trying to send big files. I’ve lived around Sainik Farms for a while, so it made sense to set up the work here. I don’t have a big staff; it’s mostly just me and an assistant who comes in a few times a week. We go through a lot of coffee while we're looking at contracts or checking schedules. It’s a lot of responsibility, but I prefer the quiet environment for thinking. It’s a straightforward job, really. I just make sure everyone is on the same page and that things are moving along like they should. It’s a bit of a drive to get into the main parts of Delhi, but I don't mind it.
