Safdarjung Hospital

Safdarjung Hospital is located right in front of the All India Institute of Medical Science. It’s a huge place and honestly, it gets quite crowded most days. If you’re coming here, you’ll notice how busy the main gates are because so many people from all over come through for help. It’s one of those spots that everyone in the area knows. We deal with a lot of different things here every single day. There’s always someone running around or a queue starting somewhere. It isn't the quietest place to be, but that is just how it is when you’re right across from AIIMS. The traffic outside can be a real headache too, so leaving early is usually a good idea if you have to be here at a specific time. We see all sorts of people walking through the doors, some just looking for directions and others who have been here for a while. It’s a very old building in parts, and you can tell by looking at the walls. Sometimes the signs aren't the clearest, so you end up asking the person next to you where to go. It is a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to it. We just keep things moving as much as possible despite the noise and the constant flow of people. It’s a practical place, not fancy at all, but it serves its purpose for the thousands who show up. You won't find any glossy brochures here, just real life.
