S S Trading Company is tucked away on the second floor at 3808 in Sadar Bazar. If you know Sadar, you know how packed it gets. We spend most of our day navigating the narrow lanes to get to our spot. Being on the second floor means we carry a lot of boxes up and down the stairs. It’s a workout. We’ve been here for a good amount of time now. The market is loud and there is always something happening outside. We mostly deal with wholesale stuff. It's a lot of counting and checking lists. People come to us because we've been in this building for years. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in the bazaar. We just do our bit. Sometimes the electricity goes out or the street gets blocked, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We keep our records in big ledgers and on the computer. It’s a mix of old and new ways. Our space is filled with stock. There isn't much room for a lounge or anything. Just desks and goods. We like being in Sadar Bazar despite the chaos. It feels like the heart of the city's trade. You find us at 3808 when you need what we have. We aren't hard to talk to. Just regular people working. It’s dusty and noisy, but it’s our daily life here on the second floor of this old building.
