S Sahani International (Opc) Privatelimited is tucked away on the third floor of building number 61 in Vijay Block. This is right in the heart of Laxmi Nagar, which is one of the most crowded and energetic parts of East Delhi. To get to our office, you have to walk up three flights of stairs, which can be a bit of a workout by the time you reach the top. We call it the third floor or T/F on our letters. The office space is quite high up, so we are away from the immediate noise of the street vendors and the traffic below, though the honking still reaches us. We have a few rooms where we handle our daily business, and there is usually a stack of documents on every flat surface. It’s a tight space but we have organized it as best as we can with shelves and cupboards. The windows look out over the other buildings in Vijay Block, and you can see how packed this area really is. We don't have a big corporate sign, just a small nameplate on the door. Most of our days are spent talking to clients and making sure our records are up to date. It’s a simple operation, and we like the fact that everything we need is within walking distance in Laxmi Nagar. Being at 61 Vijay Block for so long, we’ve become a small part of the local scenery.
