S K Ribbon & Tags

We are up on the 3rd Floor of the Dada Dharamvir Building, which is No. 1503/A in Wazir Nagar. Kotla Mubarkpur is a tight area with lots of narrow lanes, so getting up here takes a minute. We’ve got our ribbon and tag business spread out across this floor. It’s mostly rows of shelves filled with different colors of ribbons and stacks of tags waiting to be printed. The light in here is a bit dim, but we have some old lamps that do the trick. We spend most of the day cutting, sorting, and packing orders. It gets a bit loud when the machines are running, but otherwise, it’s just the sound of the fans. We aren't a big factory. It’s just a few of us who have been doing this for years. The building doesn't have a lift that works all the time, so we get plenty of exercise on the stairs. We don't have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably find us covered in bits of thread or paper. We just handle the orders as they come in and try to keep the piles from falling over. It’s a simple trade. We’ve been in Wazir Nagar long enough to know the neighborhood well. We just stay focused on the work and keep things moving. There is always a lot to do before the courier arrives.
