S Ghosh Co is located at 134 Shakti Nagar. It's a family-run kind of place that has been around the neighborhood for quite some time. The building is older, and we share the street with a lot of residential houses and a few other small shops. We do a bit of everything here regarding supplies and general trade. Our storage room in the back is usually packed to the ceiling with crates and boxes. It’s not always organized perfectly, but we manage to find what the customers need eventually. Most of the people who come in are locals who have lived in Shakti Nagar for years. We know most of them by name. We don't have a website or any of that digital stuff, we just handle things over the counter. My father started this, and now a few of us take turns sitting at the desk. The fan in the corner makes a bit of a rattling noise, but it keeps us cool during the summer months. We deal with regular daily items and some hardware too. Sometimes the deliveries are late, and we have to tell people to come back tomorrow. It is a slow-paced way of doing things, but it works for us. We keep the ledger books by hand. It’s a very traditional setup. If you walk down the main lane in Shakti Nagar, you'll see our sign hanging out front near the gate. We usually close up shop when it starts getting dark outside.
