R.S Motors

We are located in Shop No. S5 in Phase 1 of the Community Centre here in Mayapuri. If you know this area, you know it’s the place to go for anything related to motors and machinery. Being near the Mayapuri Metro Station is handy because it makes it easy for people to find the complex, even if the traffic around here is usually a mess. Our shop is filled with the smell of oil and old metal parts. We have shelves reaching up to the ceiling packed with various engine components and bits of hardware that I’ve collected over the months. It’s a noisy neighborhood with the sound of the metro trains overhead and the constant clanging from the other workshops in the community centre. Most of the day is spent looking for specific parts for people who are trying to get their vehicles back on the road. My hands are almost always black with grease, and there’s always a pile of boxes that need to be unpacked or sorted through. We don't have a lot of space for people to sit down, so most of the business happens right at the front counter. It’s a tough, busy environment, but it’s what we know. We get a lot of regular mechanics coming in who know exactly what they want, and we also get the occasional person who is completely lost. We just do our best to find what they need and get them on their way.
