Abhay Auto Traders

Abhay Auto Traders is based in Sector-16 Rohini at B-1/41. It is a bit of a trek if you are coming from the main parts of Delhi, but we are right here for the local mechanics and car owners. The shop is full of boxes of spare parts, filters, and all those little plastic clips that always break on car doors. We try to keep a bit of everything because you never know what kind of vehicle is going to roll up with a problem. Most of the morning is spent drinking tea and talking to the regular mechanics who come by to pick up stuff for their garages. We know them by name and they know we usually have what they need sitting on a shelf somewhere. It can get pretty messy with all the grease and the cardboard boxes, but we know where everything is. The shelves are high and we use a rickety ladder to reach the top ones. Sometimes the traffic in Rohini makes it hard for the delivery trucks to get to us, so we have to go out and meet them halfway. It’s just the two of us running the place, so if the phone is ringing and a customer is standing there, things get a bit hectic. We don't have any big corporate plans. We just want to make sure the parts are here when people need them to get back on the road and stay there safely.
