Being near the Metro Station in Rithala Village makes it easy for the workers to get here. Bharti is tucked away at Khasra No. 1201. It's a busy little spot, especially in the mornings when the village wakes up. We don’t have a big sign or anything, so you have to look for the gate. The space is a bit tight, but we’ve organized it so everything fits. We do a lot of different things here depending on what’s needed that week. It’s mostly just a few of us making sure the work gets finished. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit outside for a bit until the generator kicks in. Those are the times we catch up on neighborhood news. It’s a local operation, through and through. We don't use big words or have long speeches. If the work is done, everyone is happy. The proximity to the metro is the best part, though the noise from the trains is always in the background. You stop noticing it after the first week. We’ve had the same neighbors for years, and we all help each other out if someone needs a hand moving something heavy. It’s just a normal day at the office for us, even if the office is just a room with some desks and tools. We like being part of the Rithala community and just keep doing our thing.
