Rita Auto Mfg Co. is located at Plot No. 496/4 in the Punjab Sree area of Kashmiri Gate. Most people know this part of town for all the auto parts and the constant noise of engines and horns. We are right near the Axis Bank, which makes us easy to find if you are navigating through the narrow lanes. Our workshop is where we manufacture various auto components. It’s a noisy place with the sound of metal being pressed and machines running throughout the day. The air usually smells like grease and burnt oil, but that is just how an auto shop should be. We have several old machines that still work better than the new ones, and we keep them running with a bit of grease and patience. The floor is concrete and usually has some oil spots here and there. We aren't trying to look like a showroom; we are a manufacturing unit where things actually get built. The staff here has been with us for years, and they know the rhythm of the shop. When the sun goes down, we usually spend time cleaning up the scraps and getting ready for the next day's orders. It’s hard work, and your hands are always dirty by lunchtime. Kashmiri Gate is a tough place to work sometimes because of the congestion, but we like being where all the action is.
