If you head down to Street No. 4 in the Baba Gajja Jain Colony, you’ll find Rinku Auto Industries. We are right opposite York Hosiery in Industrial Area-A, not too far from Moti Nagar. It’s a busy corner of the world, full of noise and people moving parts around. Our shop is focused on auto components, so there’s always grease on someone’s hands and the smell of oil in the air. We’ve got a variety of machines packed into the space, and we know exactly how to run each one. It’s crowded, but it’s an organized kind of mess. We don't have time for polished presentations or fancy brochures. We show people what we’ve made and let the parts speak for themselves. Working in Industrial Area-A means we are surrounded by other shops, and there’s a lot of back and forth between neighbors. If we need a specific tool, we might pop next door, and they do the same. It’s a community of makers. The floors at Street No. 4 are concrete and a bit stained from years of work, which is exactly how an auto industry shop should look. We start early and usually finish when the sun is well down. It’s hard work, but it’s honest. We focus on getting the dimensions right so the parts fit where they are supposed to.
