Being right here on Factory Road near Safdarjang Hospital means it is always busy around the clock. You can hear the ambulances and the constant traffic all through the day and even into the evening. We are at number 3, and the building has been here for a good while now, showing its age in a few spots. Most mornings start with checking the trucks coming in from the main road. Since it's a bit of an older area, the roads get really cramped, especially when deliveries arrive at the same time as the hospital rush. Inside, things are mostly about moving boxes and keeping the inventory straight on the computer. It’s a lot of routine work, checking labels and making sure the stock is where it should be for the next shift. We don't have those big fancy lobbies with shiny floors you see in corporate movies. It’s just a practical, lived-in space where we get the daily job done. The staff knows the neighborhood well, like where to get the best tea in the morning or which back shortcut to take when the main road is blocked by traffic. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon is quite a lot, but the old ceiling fans keep the air moving enough. We’ve got a lot of history in this specific spot, and you can see it in the way the floors are worn down. It feels like a real working part of the city.
