We are way up on the 12th floor of New Delhi House, which is at 1202 on Barakhamba Road. Being in such a central part of Delhi means there is always a lot of noise and energy outside the building. You can see the traffic and the people moving like ants from our windows. We deal with food products, so there is always something to talk about regarding what is being made or where the shipments are going. It is mostly an office environment here compared to being on a factory floor. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working through different spreadsheets on our computers. It can get pretty hectic during the busy months when all the orders seem to come in at the same time. We don't really do the whole corporate polish thing with fancy mission statements. We just have our desks and our computers and we work through the tasks we have for the day. Sometimes the elevators in this building take a long time, which is a bit of a pain when you are trying to get to a meeting. But it is a good spot to be in the city. We have been here for a while and we know the rhythm of Barakhamba Road quite well. It is a lot of coordinating between the production people and the customers. We just try to keep everything straightforward and honest without any of the extra fluff that some big companies use.
