Resin Craft is tucked away in the Lawrence Road Industrial Area. If you’ve ever walked around here, you know it’s a maze of different small businesses and factories. We’ve been in this spot for some time now, working with resins and all the different things you can make with them. It’s a sticky kind of job, and the shop always has that distinct chemical smell that stays on your clothes. We don’t have a flashy sign or a big reception area. Usually, the door is just open to let some air in while we work on whatever project is currently on the bench. The Lawrence Road area is pretty central, so there’s always something going on outside, usually trucks blocking the narrow lanes or people rushing to get things loaded. We aren't a huge corporation with departments for everything. It’s just a few of us making sure things get finished properly. Sometimes things get a bit messy, especially when we’re busy, but that’s just the nature of working with resin. We spend our mornings going over what needs to be mixed and poured, and the afternoons are usually for cleaning up and getting ready for the next day. It’s a quiet kind of existence compared to the big offices downtown. We just like focusing on the craft and making sure we don't mess up the ratios. It keeps us on our toes and out of trouble. Everyone here wears old t-shirts because of the mess.
