Ren Plast India

Our workshop is over in the Okhla Industrial Area Phase-2, at the S-35 building. Ren Plast India has been running from this spot for a long time. It’s an industrial zone, so the air usually smells like machinery and plastic, and there is always the sound of trucks passing by. Our space isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit all the equipment we need inside. It gets quite loud when the machines are running, so we usually have to shout a bit to be heard. The floor is concrete and often has scraps or bits of material scattered around until we sweep up at the end of the shift. We are just a group of people working hard to keep the production moving. It's not the cleanest or the most modern place, but it works for what we do. We eat our lunch in a small corner near the back door when we get a break. Sometimes the power goes out in this area, and everything comes to a halt, which gives us a chance to sit outside for a bit. Most of the people around here are doing similar work, so there is a sense of being part of the local industry. We don't spend money on fancy signs; we just focus on making the items we are supposed to make. It’s a bit messy and loud, but that is just how things are in Okhla.
