This is where we work on automotive designs in New Delhi. The office is over in Pitampura, specifically at UU Block, Flat No UU169/C. It’s a bit of a residential-feeling area compared to the big industrial zones, but we’ve got our setup here for Rasco Automotive System Pvt. Ltd As Cad Engineer. Being a CAD engineer means spending a lot of hours in front of the screen, looking at lines and 3D models of car parts. It’s quiet work, mostly clicking and typing. The flat isn't huge, so we are all pretty close to each other. We’ve got computers everywhere and wires running along the floor. Chandan Kr Singh is one of the names you’ll hear around here often. It’s a bit different from a big factory floor because it’s all digital, but the pressure to get it right is still there. We take breaks to go down and get some street food or just walk around the block to stretch our legs. Delhi can be noisy outside, but inside we just focus on the drawings. We don't have a big sign out front or a fancy lobby. It’s just a group of people working on technical stuff. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which is just part of living in the city. We keep things simple and just focus on the engineering tasks.
