You can find us right on Baba Kharag Singh Marg. This place is always bustling with activity. It’s a big hospital, and it can be a bit overwhelming if you’ve never been here before. We have different wings and a lot of different departments spread out across the grounds. People come from all over the region to get treated here, so the waiting areas are almost always packed. It’s a government-run spot, which means we see everyone, regardless of who they are. The noise of the city is always right outside the gates, but inside we’re just trying to manage the flow of patients. It’s a lot of work for the doctors and the nurses. We have some very long days. Sometimes the lines for the pharmacy or the labs are out the door. We don't have fancy amenities or anything, just rows of beds and a lot of medical equipment. It’s a place that never really sleeps. Even in the middle of the night, there are lights on and people moving around. We just do what needs to be done. It’s not always pretty, and it can be stressful, but it’s an important part of the city. We don't spend time on fluff. We just focus on the medicine and getting through the daily list of patients who need us. It’s what we do.
