If you’re looking for us, we are over in the old building, specifically Room Number 16. This is where the department is set up. Being in an older part of the hospital means the walls are thick and the ceilings are high. It feels a bit like stepping back in time compared to the newer wings. We try to keep the paperwork moving, though it’s a lot to keep track of sometimes. It’s not the most modern space, but we have the tools we need to do the work. Patients come from all over because they know this is where the help is. We deal with complicated cases every day, so things can get pretty serious around here. The staff knows the layout of this old building by heart, even the squeaky floorboards. We just stay focused on the patients and try to help them understand what’s going on with their health. We have been in this room for years and know everyone around the building.
