Rakesh Motors

Rakesh Motors is located right at B-10/19 in Rajouri Garden. It’s a neighborhood where everyone seems to be in a hurry, but we’ve gotten used to the pace over the years. Our spot isn't huge, but it fits everything we need to keep things running. When you walk around this part of Rajouri Garden, you see a lot of different shops, but we’ve stayed put at this specific address. Some mornings are quieter than others. We usually start by cleaning up the front area before the first few people show up. The name Rakesh Motors is painted on the front, though it might need a fresh coat one of these days. Inside, it smells like oil and metal, which is how it should be, I guess. We don't really do much in the way of decorating. It’s a workspace first and foremost. Sometimes neighbors stop in just to chat for a minute while we’re busy with something. It feels like a local spot because that’s exactly what it is. We know the guys in the shops next to us and the people who walk their dogs past B-10/19 every evening. It’s just a regular part of the day for us. There’s no big secret to how we do things. We just show up, open the doors, and handle whatever comes our way until it’s time to head home. Rajouri Garden is a good place to be based, even with all the noise.
