We are over in Lahpat Nagar 2, specifically at D-33. It’s been our spot for a good while now. Most days here start with cleaning the glass cases and getting the frames organized before the crowd starts coming in from the market. You probably know how busy this part of town gets. People come in looking for new glasses or just need a quick fix for their old ones because a screw came loose. We spend a lot of time just talking to neighbors and regulars who drop by. The shop isn't fancy, but it does the job. We have stacks of cases and different lenses tucked away in the back. Sometimes the morning tea gets cold because someone walked in with a broken bridge that needs looking at right away. It’s a lot of sitting and checking things through the little machines we use. The street outside is always noisy with rickshaws and shoppers, but inside it stays pretty quiet. We try to keep things simple here. If someone needs their eyes checked or wants a pair of shades, they just walk up the steps and come in. We don’t do much fancy talk. Most people who live around here know where we are located. It is just a regular shop doing its thing every day. We handle the paperwork, deal with the suppliers, and make sure the displays don't get too dusty. That is basically our day. We like being part of this community.
