We are located in the Deep Shikha Building, which is building number eight in Rajendra Place. Our office is G.F.6. It’s a busy spot, and Rajendra Place always has people rushing around. Inside our space, it’s a bit different. We deal with imaging and cine films, so there are a lot of screens and technical equipment around. It’s often a bit darker inside than it is out on the street because that’s just how we have to work. We spend a lot of time looking at details that most people wouldn’t even notice. There’s no big corporate vibe here. We’re just a small group of people doing our jobs. Sometimes the elevators in the building are slow, so we end up taking the stairs. We know the other folks in the building, the ones who work in the offices next door. We might grab a quick snack from the vendors outside when we have a break. The phone rings quite a bit, and there’s always some project being worked on. We don’t have a lot of decorations on the walls; mostly just calendars and notes pinned up. It’s a practical environment. We’ve been in this building for a while, and we’ve gotten used to the hum of the city outside. Every day is pretty much the same routine—checking files, talking to people who need imaging work, and making sure the equipment is running like it should.
