You can find us over at Plot No. D 78 in Mayapuri, Phase-2. It’s a pretty active industrial area, and we are situated quite close to the post office, which is helpful when we have to send out letters or documents. The shop floor is usually covered in a bit of oil and grease because that’s the nature of working with motors. We don’t have a big reception area or anything like that; people usually just walk right in and talk to whoever is available. The noise from the main road can be quite loud, especially with all the heavy vehicles passing through Mayapuri all day long. We’ve got some old tools that have been with us since we started, and they still work better than the new ones sometimes. The sun hits the front of the plot in the afternoon, making it quite warm inside, so we keep the fans running constantly. It’s a straightforward setup here. Most of the guys working here have been around for years, so we all know how the day goes without having to say much. We just focus on the engines and the parts that need fixing. There’s always a pile of scrap metal in the corner waiting to be cleared out. It’s just a regular local shop where we put in our hours and go home when the sun goes down and the street lights come on.
