We have been operating out of Shed A-13 in the DSIIDC Complex for a long time. It is a solid little spot that has served us well through the years. The complex itself is always busy, with people moving raw materials and trucks coming in and out at all hours of the day and night. We do not have a big fancy sign or a polished entrance to show off. If you come looking for us, you will just see a regular industrial shed with the doors open and the sound of work coming from inside. It is mostly just us and the machines. We focus on getting the daily orders done and making sure nothing breaks down at the wrong time. My brother and I run the place with a few helpers who have become like family over the years. We do not have any big meetings about our vision or anything like that. We just check what needs to be made that day and get to it. Sometimes the rain makes the roof leak a bit in the corner, and we have to move things around to keep them dry, but we manage. It is a simple life and we enjoy it. We know all the other shop owners nearby, and we often borrow tools or help each other out when someone is short-handed. We are not trying to become a giant company; we just want to do good work and pay our bills.
