Raas Designs

Raas Designs is located over at No. 89 on Street No. 4 in Krishna Nagar, which is part of Safdarjung Enclave. It’s a residential-feeling street, so it doesn’t feel like you’re in the middle of a big commercial hub, which is nice for focusing on work. We do design work here. The space is filled with sketches, fabric scraps, and different tools we use every day. It’s not always tidy. Actually, it’s rarely tidy because there is always a project happening on the main table. We spend a lot of hours sitting under the lights, trying to get the lines right. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up, and the street gets really quiet then. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try not to make too much noise. We’ve been in this specific spot for a few years now. The light comes in really well through the front window in the morning. We don’t have a front desk person or a waiting room. If you come by, you’ll probably find us actually working. It’s a small team, just a few of us who know how the others work. We use simple tools and try to keep things practical. It’s just how we like to run the business. The door squeaks a bit when you open it, but we never seem to remember to oil it. It just tells us when someone is coming in.
