R. S. Bhargava Pharmacy

R. S. Bhargava Pharmacy is tucked away on the second floor of 115A in Hari Nagar, right near the Ashram Chowk. Being on the second floor means we don't get much walk-in traffic from people just wandering by, so most folks who come up the stairs are looking for us specifically. The stairs are a bit narrow and the landing could use more light, but once you're inside, it’s a fairly organized space. We deal with a lot of pharmacy supplies and boxes that need to be moved around. The view from the window is just the busy intersection of Ashram Chowk, which is always clogged with cars and rickshaws. It’s a noisy spot, but we’ve gotten used to the honking over the years. Inside, we have rows of shelves and a few desks where we handle the paperwork and phone calls. We don’t have a lot of decorations on the walls, just some calendars and maybe a few old notes pinned up. It’s a functional place. We spend a lot of time checking expiration dates and making sure the inventory matches what the computer says. Sometimes the printer jams or we run out of tape for the boxes, which can be annoying when we’re busy. We aren't a big flashy store with neon lights. We’re just a pharmacy office doing the work that needs to be done every day to keep things moving.
