Naraina is a busy industrial spot, and R S Arora Co is located at number 201. It’s a functional area, not really meant for sightseeing. Our office is a straightforward space with white walls and some basic metal desks. We don't have any art on the walls or fancy rugs. It’s a place for working, plain and simple. We deal with a lot of logistics and numbers throughout the day. The sound of trucks outside is pretty constant, as things are always being moved in and out of the units nearby. We spend our time on the phone or checking lists. It’s the kind of environment where you focus on the task at hand and don't worry about the trimmings. We have a small corner where we keep a kettle for making tea in the afternoon. That’s usually the highlight of the day when we can take ten minutes to sit down. The lighting is a bit bright and clinical, but it helps when you’re looking at small print all day. We have been here at 201 for a long time, and we know the other business owners on this block pretty well. We help each other out when someone needs a hand moving something or has a question. It’s not a fancy corporate life, but it suits us just fine. We show up, get through the list of things to do, and then we close the shop. It’s a good, steady routine.
