We’re set up at 29/1 Gandhi Nagar in the JB Nagar area. Our office is on the 2nd floor, and the Rajkumar International Hotel is the big landmark nearby. If you can find the hotel, you won’t have much trouble spotting our building. R N Bhutada & Co has been running out of this space for quite some time now. Gandhi Nagar is always buzzing with activity, so there is never a dull moment outside the window. Inside, though, we try to keep things a bit more controlled. The office is filled with the usual stuff like computers, printers, and a lot of paper. We aren't the type to have a modern, minimalist look. It looks like a place where people actually work. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting across the table from people who need help with their accounts. It’s a lot of back-and-forth, making sure everything is in the right place. The 2nd floor is a good spot because it’s not too far up but gets us away from the street dust. We have our own rhythm here. Some days are loud with discussions, and others are silent while everyone concentrates. We like being in this part of town because everything is accessible. It’s a practical location for a practical business. We just keep our heads down and handle the work as it comes in.
