R K M International

Up in North Delhi, in the Bawana Industrial Area, is where we have our setup. We’re at E-54 in Sector 4. Bawana is a huge place, and it’s easy to get lost if you don’t know the sectors well. Our building is a pretty standard industrial unit. Inside R K M International, we don’t have much in the way of decoration. We have desks for the office work and space for the goods. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around. The area is always dusty and loud because there are so many factories working at the same time. We’ve been here for a while, and we’ve seen the area grow. Most of our day is spent coordinating with transporters and checking on the production side. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking lists. We don't bother with fancy titles or polished talk. We just want to make sure the work gets done and the orders go out on time. On hot days, the fans barely do anything to cool us down, but we keep moving anyway. We usually take our breaks together and talk about regular things like the weather or the traffic on the way in. It’s a straightforward way to live. We’re just another unit in Bawana, working hard and trying to stay on top of the daily grind. It is just what we do to get by.
