Our clinic is tucked away in Gali No. 5 of Bihari Colony in Shahdara. If you know where Shyamlal College is, we are quite close to that. The address is No. 2710, and it’s a typical Delhi street where everyone knows each other. R G Homeopathic Clinics isn’t a large hospital; it is a small, local place where we keep rows of glass bottles filled with little white pills. The morning starts with us cleaning the glass jars and organizing the files for the people coming in later. Shahdara can be quite noisy with all the rickshaws and the markets nearby, but our little corner stays relatively calm. We see a lot of regulars from the neighborhood who have been coming to us for years. They usually sit on the wooden chairs in the waiting area and chat about the weather or local news. We spend a lot of time just listening to what people have to say about their health. It is a slow process, nothing like the big fast-paced hospitals in the center of the city. Sometimes we run out of specific tinctures and have to wait for the delivery guy to navigate the narrow lanes of Bihari Colony. It is a simple life here, focused on the basics of homeopathy. We don’t have fancy neon signs, just a small board outside the door so people know they’ve found the right spot.
