You can find Purushottam & Co. right in the middle of the Main Market at Chawri Bazar. Our shop is number 3666. If you're walking down the street, we are quite near Standard Sweet. Most people use that as a landmark because the smell of the sweets is everywhere. Chawri Bazar is always crowded, so getting here takes some patience, especially with all the carts and people moving around. We have been in this spot for a long time. The shop isn't huge, but it's packed with what we need to get the job done. It gets quite hot in the summer months, but that is just part of being in this market. We open up early and stay until things wind down in the evening. There is always a lot of noise from the street, vendors shouting, and cycles passing by. It’s a very old part of the city. Sometimes the electricity acts up or the rain makes the narrow lanes a bit messy, but we just deal with it. It’s a steady kind of life here. We know the other shopkeepers and we just focus on our own tasks. No big corporate offices here, just us and the inventory. If you find the sweet shop, you’re basically there.
