Allied Poles I Ltd.

Our place is right at No. 1 Central Market over in Punjabi Bagh. If you know the market at all, you know it gets pretty crowded and noisy around here. We deal with poles, mostly for things like lighting and utility stuff. It's a specific kind of business. We've been operating out of this Punjabi Bagh spot for a good bit now. Most of the time, we're just coordinating deliveries or checking on manufacturing specs. It isn't the most exciting thing to talk about at a dinner party, but it is steady work. The market noise is constant, but you get used to it after the first few weeks. We have a small team here. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and making sure the trucks can actually get in and out of the area, which is sometimes a bit of a nightmare with the local traffic. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just some desks, a lot of catalogs, and some samples of the hardware. We try to keep things organized, but when it gets busy, papers end up everywhere. It is just how it goes when you are trying to keep up with orders. We have seen the market change a lot over the years, but we're still here at the same address, doing the same basic job day in and day out. Sometimes the tea runs out before the day is over, but we manage. We just keep our heads down and work.
