So, Punjab Di Kudi is our little space over at A-88, first floor in East of Kailash. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but we’ve made it comfortable enough. We mostly focus on stuff that reminds us of home, specifically the kind of clothes and things you’d see back in Punjab. It started out quite small, just a few racks and some ideas. Now we have a bit more, but it’s still very much a family-run kind of thing. The neighborhood here is usually pretty active, so we get people stopping by after work or while they’re out running errands. We don’t have those big bright signs or anything, just a quiet spot where you can look through the suits and fabrics. Sometimes we’re still sorting through new stock late into the evening. It’s hard work, but we enjoy seeing people find something they actually like wearing. We’re near the main part of East of Kailash, so it’s easy to find once you know where the building is. We aren't trying to be a high-end designer shop. We just want to provide decent stuff that looks good and feels right. My aunt helps out sometimes, and we usually have tea going in the back. If you want to see what we have, just come up to the first floor. We’re usually there unless we’ve stepped out for a quick lunch or something like that.
