Progressive Gear Industries (P) Ltd. is located right in the heart of the Udyog Nagar Industrial Area at K-43. If you know Rohtak Road, you know how hectic the traffic can get around here, especially with all the trucks moving in and out. Our workshop is one of many in this row, and you can usually hear the sound of metal being worked on long before you step inside. We’ve been operating out of this spot for quite a while, and the interior has that worn-in look that only comes from years of actual labor. There is always a faint smell of machine oil and grease in the air, which we’ve all grown used to over time. The office is just a small partitioned space at the front where the paperwork gets piled up. We don't have those big polished conference tables you see in movies. Instead, we sit around a wooden desk that’s seen better days, drinking tea and figuring out the schedule for the week. The staff here is a small group, and most of us live nearby, so we know the local area like the back of our hands. Lunchtime is usually quiet as everyone finds a corner to eat their tiffin. We don’t do much advertising; people mostly find us because they’ve been told we are here at K-43. It’s a straightforward way of working where the focus is just on the gears and keeping everything running smoothly without much fuss or drama.
