Professional Electronics

We are located at C-47 in the Flatted Factories Complex over in Jhandewalan. Professional Electronics is the name on the door, though most of us just call it the shop. Being in a flatted factory means we have neighbors above and below us, so there is always the sound of footsteps or machinery humming through the walls. The elevators in this complex can be a bit slow, so we often end up taking the stairs. Inside C-47, it is mostly workstations and rows of shelving. We have a lot of test equipment that takes up most of the desk space. The lighting is that bright fluorescent kind that keeps you awake during the long afternoons. Jhandewalan is a central spot, so it is convenient, even if the parking is a total nightmare most days. We have a small corner where we keep a microwave and a kettle for breaks. The work we do is steady and repetitive, but we like the routine of it. We don't have any fancy signs or a showroom. It is just a place where we come to work on electronics every day. Most of the guys have been here for years and know the building inside out. It’s a bit of a maze, but it’s our space. We focus on the boards and the components and don't worry about much else until it is time to clock out. It’s a decent place to spend the day.
