You can find us over at Rz 41 on the first floor. We are right in Gali No 3 in the Raghu Nagar area of New Delhi. As the Principal Accounting Office for the Govt of Delhi, we have plenty to keep us busy every single day. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a regular space where the ledgers and numbers get sorted out. It can get pretty noisy in the gali with all the local activity, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve got stacks of files and people coming in and out with various forms. It’s a lot of practical, hands-on work. We don't use any fancy talk here; we just focus on getting the accounts right and making sure the records are where they should be. Being in New Delhi 45, we see a lot of the local life right outside our window. Sometimes the fans are humming, and other times it’s just the sound of pens scratching on paper. It’s an honest living and an important job, even if it feels a bit repetitive some afternoons. We try to stay on top of the paperwork so things don't pile up too high.
