Our office is over at 61 Connaught Place, right in the middle of all the noise and people. If you know Delhi, you know how busy CP gets during the week. Precision Machinery Pvt Ltd has been operating out of this spot for a while, and the building has that old-style architecture with high ceilings and thick walls. We mostly handle machinery orders and paperwork here. It isn't a factory, just a place where we manage the business side of things. The floor is a bit worn down from people walking in and out all day. We have a couple of old desks and filing cabinets that have seen better days. Sometimes the lifts don't work, so we end up taking the stairs, which is quite a workout. The view outside is just cars and people rushing to the metro station. We keep a kettle in the corner for making tea because it gets cold in the winters. It’s not a shiny corporate office like the ones in Gurgaon. It’s more of a functional space where we get the job done. We deal with various manufacturing clients and try to stay on top of the orders coming in. The phone rings a lot, and there’s always someone coming in with a query about a spare part or a delivery schedule. We just handle it one day at a time without much fuss or drama. It works for us. We've been here since the nineties.
