We are over at number 140 on Bhishma Pitamah Marg. Most people find us by looking for the Timber Market or the area opposite B 1 in Defense Colony. It’s right in the middle of Kotla Mubarakpur and Arjun Nagar. The location is a bit crowded because of all the wood shops and heavy trucks moving around the timber market, so parking a car can be a real headache. The clinic itself is quite small and filled with the smell of the little sugar pills and herbal tinctures we use for our treatments. I’ve been working out of this spot for many years now. There’s an old wooden desk that belonged to my father and some shelves that are sagging under the weight of all the medicine bottles and old books. It’s a cozy space, maybe a bit too cozy when we have a full house of patients. We don't use any loud machines or fancy electronic gadgets here. It’s just about sitting down and talking through how someone is feeling. The floor tiles are a bit cracked near the entrance but we put a thick rug over it so no one trips. Most of our visitors are from the neighborhood, people who prefer this traditional way of doing things. We stay open late most days because people like to stop by after they finish their shifts at the market. It’s a humble place but it has a lot of history in the local community.
