You can find Prakash & Co down in the Air Condistion Market at Palika Bazar. We’re at shop number 272. If you know Connaught Place, you know how hectic it gets down there in the underground sections. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes with all the different corridors and people rushing everywhere. We’ve been in this particular spot for a good while. It’s a small shop, but we make it work for us. Most days it’s just us sitting here waiting for the next person to walk through the door. The lighting isn't always the best, and it can feel a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock piled up. But it’s home for us. We don't really bother with big signs or those flashy lights you see elsewhere. People who need us usually find their way eventually by asking around. Working in Palika means you see all sorts of people every day. We’ve seen the market change a lot over the years, but we’re still here in the same corner. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us handling the daily bits and pieces of the business. It’s not some big corporate venture with a mission statement. It’s just a shop in the basement. We do our best to keep things somewhat organized, even if it doesn't always look like it to a stranger. If you’re walking around CP, you probably passed by us without even knowing. It's just a regular local business.
