Polyflexx Polymers

We are Polyflexx Polymers, over at Plot No. A-11 in Rajiv Gandhi Colony, which is part of the Govindpuri and Kalkaji area. It’s a very crowded part of town, so space is always a bit tight. We have our machines packed in pretty close together. We work mostly with plastics and polymers, so there is that distinct smell of melting pellets in the air most of the time. The workers come in shifts because we try to keep the production going as much as possible. Outside on the street, it’s always a struggle to find a place to park a bike or a truck. The colony is full of life, with tea stalls and small shops right outside our gate. Inside, it’s a different world of heat and the rhythmic thumping of the injection molds. We keep our logs on a simple clipboard by the door. There’s no big reception area or anyone to greet you at the door; you usually have to find one of us on the floor. We deal with a lot of raw plastic granules that come in big heavy sacks. We spend a lot of time pouring those into the hoppers and watching the settings. It is basic manufacturing, nothing too flashy, but it’s what we know. We’ve been in this Kalkaji spot long enough that we don’t even notice the noise anymore. We just keep our heads down and finish the day's work.
