Kilometer Productions India Ltd.

Our base is at A-27 in Lok Vihar, Pitampura. It’s a residential-feeling area but we’ve got our setup here for Kilometer Productions India Ltd. We aren't a massive studio with giant gates and security guards. It’s more of a functional space where we handle the behind-the-scenes stuff. We’ve got some rooms for editing and others for just sitting down and planning things out. The atmosphere is usually pretty casual. You’ll see people in jeans drinking tea and looking at screens. We don't follow a strict corporate dress code because that doesn't really fit what we do. Pitampura is a good location for us. It’s easy to get to and has everything we need close by. Sometimes the office gets a bit loud when we are all debating an idea, but it’s all part of the process. We don't have a mission statement hanging on the wall. We just try to finish one project and then move on to the next one. Our shelves are a bit disorganized with old tapes and hard drives, but we know where the important stuff is. It’s a creative space that looks like people actually live and work in it. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. We just care about getting the work done right. It’s a steady pace most weeks. Someone usually brings in snacks around three in the afternoon, which helps the energy.
