Pilot Industries Ltd.

Our factory is located at Ss 14 in Shadara. It’s an industrial area, so it’s not the quietest place to be. Pilot Industries Ltd has been operating here for quite some time now. We make things, mostly dealing with batteries and lead components. The machines are old and they make a lot of noise throughout the shift. You’ll see workers in their gear moving heavy parts from one side of the floor to the other. It’s hot in the summer and the air always has that metallic tang to it. We don't spend time on fancy marketing because the work speaks for itself. We just focus on getting the production numbers right every day. Shadara has a lot of history with small industries, and we are just one part of that. We have a small office upstairs where we handle the orders and the payroll. It’s a lot of hard work and we don't pretend it's anything else. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in. We have a core group of people who have been with us for years. We know each other well and we just get on with the job. It’s a busy environment and there is always a truck being loaded at the gate. We just keep our heads down and do our work.
