Filadil Exports

Our place is in the Okhla Industrial Area, specifically at D-8/3. If you know this part of town, you know it’s mostly warehouses and factories. That’s exactly what it’s like for us too. We do exports, which means there are always stacks of boxes and shipping containers around. It’s a dusty area sometimes, and there is always a truck idling somewhere nearby. Inside, it’s all about getting the garments packed up and ready to go. We spend a lot of time checking the counts and making sure the paperwork is in order. It’s not a place for people who want to sit in a quiet office all day. There is a lot of moving around, lifting heavy bags, and making sure the shipments go out on time. We’ve been in Okhla for years, and it’s a good spot for this kind of business because of how the roads are set up for transport. The floors are concrete and the lights are bright so we can see what we’re doing. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that; if you walk in, you’ll probably just see someone with a clipboard or a roll of tape. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know and how we spend our weeks. Every day is a bit different depending on which country we are sending things to, but the routine of packing and checking stays the same for everyone here.
