Pelican International

You can find us on the second floor of GD-68 in Pitampura. It’s a standard commercial building, nothing special to look at from the street. Pelican International is mostly just a couple of rooms where we handle all our business. We spend a lot of time on the phones and the computer here. It’s quieter than the ground floor shops, which is nice when we have a lot of numbers to check. The stairs are a bit steep, so we don't get many random walk-ins, which usually suits us fine. Most of our work involves coordinating shipments and talking to suppliers. There are stacks of files on the desks and a coffee machine that gets a lot of use. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who have been working together for a while. We know each other's habits by now. The neighborhood has plenty of places to eat, so lunch is usually the highlight of the day. We don't do much in the way of fancy presentations or corporate meetings. We just sit down, look at what needs to be done, and do it. Sometimes it gets a bit stressful when a shipment is delayed, but we just manage it as best we can. It’s a small operation, but it keeps us moving. We like being in Pitampura because it’s easy for most of us to get to. We've been in this office for a few years now and it fits our needs just right.
