We are located at Shed No B-70/62 in the DSIDC Complex over in the Wazirpur Industrial Area. It’s right off Lawrence Road, which is always thick with traffic and trucks. Being in an industrial area like this means it’s never quiet. There’s always the sound of machines or someone loading a van nearby. Pathri Overseas Private Limited is run out of this shed, and it’s a very practical setup. We don't have any fancy carpets or soft chairs. It’s mostly concrete floors and metal shelves filled with whatever we are moving that week. We deal with overseas stuff, so we spend a lot of time on the computer looking at tracking numbers and shipping schedules. The work is straightforward but there is a lot of it. We don't spend time writing mission statements or having long strategy sessions. We just look at what needs to be shipped out today and we get it done. Sometimes the electricity flickers when the big machines next door start up, but we just keep working through it. It’s a busy, dusty, and honest place to spend the day. Most of us have been working in Wazirpur for years, so we’re used to the pace. We just focus on the logistics and making sure the crates are packed right. It’s not glamorous, but it’s what we do, and we’ve gotten pretty good at the routine by now.
