Parishudh Machines Pvt Ltd is tucked away in Room No-11 on the second floor of House No-69 in Bhagwan Nagar Ashram. It is certainly not a flashy office in a glass tower or a huge industrial complex. It is just a normal building in the New Delhi 14 area. We deal with various machines and mechanical parts, which means things can get a little bit messy. There is often a bit of grease or metal dust around the place, even though we try to keep the office area as clean as possible. Climbing those two flights of stairs every day is a bit of a workout, especially when we are carrying heavy packages. We spend a lot of our time on the phone talking to suppliers or squinting at technical drawings on our desks. Since we are a small operation, everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. One hour I might be checking through invoices, and the next I might be helping someone move a heavy crate near the door. Being located in Ashram means the traffic noise from the street is always there in the background. You eventually get used to the sounds of the city. We have a small window that lets in some light, but the view is mostly just other buildings and power lines. We aren't trying to be the biggest machine company in the country. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the parts are delivered. It is practical, honest work without any corporate pretense.
