Pal Surgical Industries

Pal Surgical Industries is located at 1802 in the Electrical Market. This is right in Bhagirath Palace, which is part of the famous Chandni Chowk area. If you haven't been here, it's an experience. The lanes are tiny and packed with people buying everything from lights to surgical tools. Our shop is one of many in this old building. It’s a historic part of the city, but it’s definitely not modern. We have surgical instruments and equipment stored on every shelf. Sometimes we have to use a ladder just to find something from the top rack. It’s a bit dusty, and the lights aren't the brightest, but we know where everything is. The guys in the market are like family. We've seen kids grow up and take over their fathers' shops nearby. We handle a lot of orders for hospitals and clinics. The phone never stops ringing, and people are always walking in to ask prices. It’s a lot of shouting across the room sometimes just to be heard over the market noise. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just do business face-to-face or over the phone. We drink tea from the same vendor every day. It’s a gritty, busy place but it’s home for us. We’ve been here at 1802 for decades. It’s just how we do things in Chandni Chowk.
