Delhi Fitting House

Delhi Fitting House is right there at A-283/5 Amarpuri Nabi Kareem in Paharganj. If you know Paharganj, you know the streets are narrow and always full of people and carts. Our place is quite small, and we’ve filled every inch of it with shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. It’s usually a bit dark inside because the sunlight doesn't really reach down into these lanes very well. We have some old stools where we sit when things are slow. The floor is made of old concrete and has a few cracks here and there. There’s usually a bit of dust and grease on things, which is just part of the job when you handle fittings. We don't really bother with any kind of advertising; we just stay here and people who need things eventually find their way to us. In the afternoons, the noise from the market outside is quite loud, with people shouting and horns honking constantly. We keep the front door open to get some air, even if it brings in more dust. It’s a very basic way of working, just selling parts and talking to the people who come in. We aren't looking to expand or do anything big, just keeping the shop going like we always have. This is our world in Nabi Kareem, and it's where we belong.
