We’re located on the ground floor of B-57 in Kalkaji. It’s a busy neighborhood in Delhi, so there’s always something going on outside. Labels are what we do. If you walk into our place, you’ll see rolls of paper and ink everywhere. It’s a bit noisy because of the printing machines, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We started small and just kept going. The ground floor spot is handy for loading and unloading rolls from the trucks. Kalkaji is a crowded place, so parking is always a headache for anyone visiting. We mostly just focus on getting the colors right and making sure the adhesive is good. It’s a hands-on job. Our clothes usually have a bit of ink on them by the end of the shift. We have a few long-term employees who know the machines inside out. Sometimes the heat in Delhi gets to be too much, but we keep the fans blowing. We aren't trying to be some high-end design studio; we just make labels that stick. It’s a practical business for practical needs. We eat at the local stalls nearby quite often. The tea man knows exactly how we like our chai. It’s a local vibe here at Pac Edge Labels. We just stay busy with the orders and try to keep the machines running without too many breakdowns. It’s just a regular day in the city for us.
