Overnite Express Ltd has a branch here in Kishan Kunj, right in the heart of Laxmi Nagar. If you’ve been to East Delhi, you know how busy Laxmi Nagar is with all the coaching centers and small shops. Our place is at 55-B, and it’s always a bit of a scramble with parcels coming in and out. We focus on getting things delivered quickly, which is a challenge with the Delhi traffic. We have delivery boys on bikes who know the shortcuts through the narrow gallis of Kishan Kunj. It’s not a quiet office; there’s always the sound of tape dispensers and people checking tracking numbers. We don’t have a fancy waiting area, just a counter where people drop off their letters and boxes. Sometimes the internet goes slow or the power cuts out, but we keep the parcels moving regardless. We aren’t trying to be some giant global brand in this office, just a reliable spot for the locals to send their stuff. Most of us have worked here for years and we know the regular customers by sight. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and dealing with heavy bags, but it’s the life of the courier business. We try to be as quick as the name suggests, though sometimes the rain or the festivals slow us down. It’s just us doing our best in a very busy city.
