Our office is located over in Ajay Enclave, right on the first floor of the D-133 building. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but we’ve been here long enough that we don’t really think about it anymore. New Delhi-18 is a crowded area, so parking is usually a bit of a headache for anyone coming to visit us, but that’s just how it is in this part of the city. We have a small team here working out of a few rooms that are usually cluttered with files and old notebooks. It’s not the most modern setup you’ll ever see, but the fans work and we have enough light to see what we’re doing. We mostly spend our time dealing with the daily tasks that come our way, trying to stay on top of the schedule. Sometimes the internet acts up or the printer jams, and we spend twenty minutes trying to fix it ourselves instead of calling someone. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don’t have any big corporate rules about what to wear, so most of us just come in whatever is comfortable for the weather. On hot days, the air conditioner gets a real workout. We’ve grown attached to this neighborhood over the years. There is a small tea stall downstairs where we go when we need a break from the screens. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people doing their jobs.
